A Sample of Past Activities:

:
First Annual Memorial Day Weekend Paint
Party/OmahaPALS Kickoff Meeting! Featured one color: white! Featured two
rooms: Kitchen/Bathroom! Featured three ambitious members (brain & brawn)
collectively accomplishing one giant step for a single Mom, & major inroads
for the newly formed singles group. A goal was set to develop a website
which was completed prior to the next scheduled event.

:
Poker Party! Heavy betting and high stakes are the only way to describe this evening of intense 5-card stud. There was only one person who never won a single hand. After the last card was
revealed...a computer demonstration was provided to view websites and learn
some features related to advancing HSV awareness online. Primarily,
discussion centered on people without online access, and offering a solution
to include them in scheduled activities.

:
Renaissance Festival! Brunch at Burger King, and a day of Gypsy barters, trolls, knights, maidens, royalty, fencing,
falconry, juggling, minstrels, & dancers were part of the enchantment we enjoyed together on a warm, overcast day. A couple of us might even dress the part next year & offer our own juggling talents??? Didn't accomplish much business, but sure had a lot of fun!

The BIG Party In The Valley!
E' and L' drove in from Lincoln and brought some nice wine, bread and pistachios. We emptied the wine and (munch, munch) this is very good bread.
S' obviously doesn't hang out with the navigators down at Offut AFB :-), but she got here OK and fits right in with the group. Thanks for the dance S'. Yes, there was dancing! It was fun and I need more.
L' won the only game that we played. (Five minutes of silence) Congratulations winner! We knew you could do it – hmm, we thought you could do it - awh, we didn't think you had a chance.
D' kept us thinking in three dimensions. She'll have to let us know if it's Chicago or the cabin.
Chamber music was provided by the Union Pacific RR train whistles every three minutes.
Finally, the absent-minded geek has found that Discoveromaha URL, it's http://groups.discoveromaha.com/omahapals/

Dance in Millard, NE
Shakespeare On the Green, Pinot Grigio, and strawberries has a strange influence on e-mails in the 21st century. eg.
Query:
Romeo, Romeo....wherefore art thou Romeo????????????
Response:
What light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Juliet is the Sun.
Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon.
----------
See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand!
O, that I were a glove upon that hand, That I might touch that cheek!
----------
O, wilt thou leave me so unsatisfied?
----------
Henceforth I never will be Romeo.
